This Privacy Policy describes how Doorco Inc handles information you provide when you request service or communicate with us, including the staff-sent service text messages described in our SMS Terms. It covers service communications, including operational communications with employees and vendors.
Information you provide
Depending on your request or conversation, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, service address, details about a job or estimate, and the content of your messages. We use that information to respond to you and coordinate the service or work you request.
How we use service information
We use information you provide to answer questions, prepare and discuss estimates, arrange appointments, coordinate schedules, provide arrival and job-status updates, and support customers. For employees and vendors, service communications may include work scheduling and operational coordination.
With your permission, Doorco staff may text with you in two-way service conversations about scheduling, upcoming appointments, estimate questions, requested arrival or job-status updates, and customer support. Staff messages may contain service-related links or contact numbers relevant to the conversation. This SMS program does not include automated messages, bulk messaging, one-way reminder outreach, promotional offers, or marketing messages.
Your choice about text messages
Providing a phone number does not, by itself, give Doorco permission to send you text messages. We ask for your affirmative permission by phone or in person. If a Doorco form offers a separate SMS consent checkbox, you may also choose to give permission by checking that box.
Texting is optional. You can request and purchase service without agreeing to receive texts. Message frequency varies with your service activity; there is no fixed subscription schedule. Message and data rates may apply.

Mobile information and sharing
Doorco will not sell or share personal information collected for service communications with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This includes your mobile number, text-message opt-in information, and consent.
Information needed to provide service communications may be handled by providers that deliver messages or support those communications, solely for those purposes. This limited use does not permit another party to use your mobile information or SMS consent for marketing or promotional purposes.

Updates to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the revised version here and update the date. A policy change does not replace the need for your permission to receive text messages.
